A 35-year-old woman charged in connection with a series of unprovoked stabbing attacks along Vancouver’s seawall last fall has pleaded guilty to all counts she was facing.

Tamara Hamelin entered guilty pleas on Dec. 16 in Vancouver’s Downtown Community Court to four counts of assault with a weapon and two counts of assault, according to the B.C. Prosecution Service.

Hamelin was arrested on Oct. 10, 2025, after three people were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following a string of attacks in the Yaletown area of Vancouver.

Police later said a total of seven victims had been identified — five men and two women between the ages of 23 and 59. The assaults occurred near David Lam Park, along the Yaletown section of the seawall.

In addition to the three people initially hospitalized, investigators said four more victims came forward, including another person who was stabbed, one who was physically assaulted, and two who were not physically injured.

At the time, Vancouver Police Department described the attacks as violent and unprovoked.

Hamelin remains in custody and is scheduled to be sentenced on March 31, according to court records.
