RCMP Seek Suspect After Girl Sexually Assaulted at Langford Bus Stop

Police on Vancouver Island are searching for a suspect after a girl was sexually assaulted at a bus stop in Langford.
West Shore RCMP say the incident happened at around 3 p.m. on Tuesday near Jacklin Road and Station Avenue.
According to police, the girl was at the bus stop when she was approached by a stranger. Investigators say the man had a short conversation with her before sexually assaulting her and leaving the area.
Police Prioritizing Suspect Identification
RCMP say the girl was not physically injured.
Police also said there have been no similar attacks reported, but investigators are treating the identification of the suspect as a priority.
The suspect is described as a man in his early to mid-30s. He is about five feet eight inches tall and has brown hair cut in a mullet style.
At the time of the incident, he was wearing a white T-shirt and an orange wristband.
Investigation Ongoing
West Shore RCMP are asking anyone with information about the incident or the suspect to contact police.
Investigators are continuing to gather information as they work to identify the man involved.
